At what week should you take maternity pictures?
Typically, maternity pictures are taken between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy but every mama is different. Chat with your maternity photographer to see when the perfect time is for you.
How late is too late to get maternity photos?
It is generally recommended to schedule maternity photoshoots between 28 and 36 weeks of pregnancy but every mom is different. I have photographed moms a week before they went into labor. Photographers know how import it is to not miss these moments so finding one that will work with your comfort level where ever you are at in your pregnancy journey is key.
How early is too early to get maternity photos? I am worried I will go into labor before I get this moment documented.
It is generally recommended for your maternity session to be scheduled after moms are 28 weeks pregnant. With that being said, every mama to be is different! Your photographer can assist you on a selecting a timeframe that works for you when that beautiful roundness showcases that there is a baby in there!
