When do I book my newborn photographer?
It is recommended to book your newborn photographer during your second trimester of pregnancy to ensure availability.
Have I missed the window for newborn photos if my baby is older than two weeks of age?
Absolutely not! I would say to speak with a newborn photographer as soon as possible since they do grow out of that newborn stage so quickly! We want them to be able to get into all those squishy newborn poses in the early weeks of life.
Should I bring my toddler to my newborn photography session?
Without a doubt, yes! As a newborn and family photographer, it is my passion to work with newborns and toddlers. Sometimes adding a new sibling to the mix is challenging for a toddler and I can only speak for myself but I have some tricks up my sleeve. Take the pressure off yourself and let me work with your toddler where ever their comfort level is. I have a secret to tell you, even if they do not want to go near your newborn, I can still provide you with that sibling photo you dream of hanging on your wall.
My toddler despises my newborn, can I still hope to get a sibling photo?
Of course! Your toddler is not the first toddler to be upset by change. I have navigated this many times and I excel at meeting your toddler where he or she is at. Your toddler, as well as your newborn are my little VIP clients. I am a mom as well and my expertise at making this a fun experience for the entire family and my patience will warrant wonderful art products for your family to cherish for years to come.
